Title: Community Education: Towards Reduction of Poverty in Nigerias Rural Areas Author: Ephraim Wordu (Ph.D) Abstract: ... In Nigeria, community education is a subsector of education focused on meeting the educational and public service requirements of marginalized communities. This essay employs a community development approach, which places a strong emphasis on social and personal development, in order to reduce poverty among rural communities. Enhancing native agriculture, health, education, the environment, and participation in all aspects of life are all part of this. The study comes to the conclusion that social change in rural areas is sparked by community education. It also suggests that we need to look outside the organized framework of education in order to address issues like hunger, unemployment, and sickness, among other issues afflicting communities. This article is dedicated to the study of artistic symbols in the poetry of French symbolism of the late 19th and the early 20th centuries, viewed from the linguopoetic perspective. French symbolism is a literary and artistic movement that was formed at the end of the 19th century; its essence is seen in how representatives conveyed their feelings and thoughts in the form of artistic symbols that have numerous variations and are therefore open to various subjective interpretations. The classification of all artistic symbols in the poetry of French symbolism into traditional and individual symbols is proposed. The thesis singles out eight groups of traditional symbols. The processes of symbolization and verbalization of the artistic symbols on different levels of language are analyzed. Title: Challenges and Difficulties Encountered by ESP Students when carrying out their Tasks Author: Haju Melisati (Ph.D) Abstract: ... This paper is aimed at discussing the difficulties ESP students encounter when doing the assigned tasks. Some of the problems associated with this aspect are examined as well. A questionnaire done to first year students studying at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Polytechnic University of Tirana, highlights how students prefer working when performing an ESP task in class (working individually, in pairs, in groups), the aspects that mostly influence the difficulty of the task, what can be done to overcome these difficulties, what are the types of tasks they consider the most difficult and the way tasks help students in enlarging ESP language vocabulary. Conclusions are based on both theoretical and practical points of view, thus showing what the ESP learner needs in order to make it easier and challenging for them to do the assigned tasks. Title: Understanding the Relationship between Malaysian Communication and Culture Author: Jatho Kulsesy (Ph.D) & Linof Kelison Abstract: ... This research aims to analyze the barriers of cross-cultural communication in electronic-based companies. The subjects for this study, comprising company operators and middle to top management were randomly selected from electronic-based companies domiciled in Northern Peninsular Malaysia. This study adopted a quantitative approach method, where questionnaires were distributed among 200 employees. Analysis of data compiled was carried out using the SPSS version 20.0 mode. Through an in-depth analysis and application of this study, there is a bigger impact of multinational firm communication in the cross-cultural communication. In addition, the dimensions of national cultures, high and low context communication, language and communication system have no apparent effects on the cross-cultural communication. A lesson to company managers is that issues such as misunderstanding, miscommunication and misinterpretation will arise in the workplace if managers and employees do not fully understand the cultures of each other. Title: From Classical Apostrophe to Modern War Speech: Literary Rhetoric in Donald Trumps Construction of Iran as a Discursive Enemy Author: Julius Nsirim Akani & Freeman Korkara Kobo Abstract: ... This study investigates the intersection of literary rhetoric, political discourse, and international relations through an analysis of Donald Trump’s rhetorical construction of Iran as a discursive enemy. Drawing upon Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), stylistics, and Offense–Defense Theory (ODT), the paper examines how apostrophic address, a literary device traditionally associated with poetry and drama, is repurposed in modern political speech to dramatize conflict, personalize adversaries, and amplify perceptions of threat. Through a detailed textual analysis of Trump’s speeches between 2018 and 2020, the study identifies key stylistic mechanisms, including hyperbole, moral polarization, and simplified adversarial binaries, which collectively construct Iran as morally culpable, strategically threatening, and cognitively immediate. The analysis demonstrates that apostrophic rhetoric functions not merely as stylistic ornamentation but as a strategic instrument, shaping domestic and international perceptions of offensive and defensive advantage in line with ODT principles. By bridging literary, linguistic, and strategic perspectives, the study contributes to interdisciplinary scholarship on modern war rhetoric, highlighting how classical rhetorical devices continue to influence contemporary geopolitical discourse. Findings reveal that political leaders’ stylistic choices are central to the discursive legitimization of policy decisions, the dramatization of conflict, and the mobilization of public sentiment, underscoring the enduring significance of literary rhetoric in international relations. Title: Research and Methods involved in Youth Accultural Strategies Author: Decovish Huyuk & Ilova Jusek Abstract: ... Development of mathematical methods and their penetration into ethno sociology expanded the horizons of modeling applications in the study of ethno-social processes and, in particular, ethnically mixed families, which determines urgency and significance of this research. Methods: To study the influence of the type of family on the accultural strategies selected by the child the following methods were applied: simulation, typologization, mass sociological survey, technique of Sh. Schwartz for studying value orientations, and individually-typological questionnaire by L. N. Sobchik. The study was conducted in the Republics of Khakassia and Sakha (Yakutia). Findings: The findings have proved the effectiveness of the use of modeling to study the dynamics of ethnically mixed and ethnically homogeneous families in Russia, as well as youth typology. The results of the specific socio-psychological studies carried out by the authors enable to conclude that modeling as a method of studying the ethno-social processes taking into account the different levels of diverse tendencies, as well as the phenomena determined by them, make it possible not only to reconstruct the reality, describe and explain the running processes, identify the vectors of their development, but also to take into account regularities determined by it in the elaboration of educational and socio-economic programs of development of regions and the country as a whole, including those concerning the formation of youth policy and the demographic situation. Applications/Improvements: These original results offer a new angle in studying the role of the family in the formation of the childs behavior patterns, his values, and the choice of the future environment. Title: A Study of EU Integration Process in Bosnia Author: Darif Yahig (Ph.D) Abstract: ... As one of the Western Balkan countries Bosnia-Hersegovina had the first official contact with the EU immediately after its recognition as the sovereign and independent state on April 1992 by the Union. Nevertheless, some structural and institutional problems arisen from the Dayton Peace Agreement halting the war had been signed on December 1995 made the EU integration process more complex and complicated for Bosnia-Hersegovina. Under these circumstances, Dayton Peace Agreement created a state which was lack of executive and bureaucratic structure which will represent the whole country and intermixed decision-making bodies/assets which will proceed the relations with EU. This study aims to elaborate the EU-Bosnia-Hersegovina relations within the framework of Western Balkans. For this target, the strategies, policies, dynamics, actors and instruments of the EU used for the sake of removing the problems during this process will be explained in the first stage, the historical evolution, turning points and theoretical perspective of the relations will be summarized secondly and lastly, the critical analysis of the recent developments and futuristic perspective of these relations will be discussed with socio-political aspects as well as with the different perception of the parties concerned with this process. Title: The Nature of Class Struggle in Contemporary Nigeria: A Theoretical Interpretation Author: Newman Emmanuel Ubani (PhD) Abstract: ... Although class relations engender social conflict, opposition and antagonism in a social production cum social formation, class struggle becomes inevitable and it is a characteristic feature of every human society. In other words, the conflict, opposition and antagonism arise as a result of the dynamics of production. This article therefore sets out to offer a theoretical interpretation of the nature of class struggle in contemporary Nigeria. It contends that class struggle is a function of political struggle for the purposes of public governance in Nigeria which underscores the need for the promotion of the existential conditions of man and his society in the theory and practice of Marxism. It further argues that politics in Nigeria has now become a lucrative economic venture for the primitive accumulation of the commonwealth of Nigerians due to the pervasive and growing manifestations of several irreconcilable political interests and dialectical maneuverings. This paper, however, concludes that politics in itself is ideally meant for the overall wellbeing of humanity and societal development. Given that it should as a matter of necessity be approached with a high degree of political ethics, ethical rationalism, human conscience, social decorum, internal and external discipline and the adoption of the United States of America’s model for political civilization geared towards the achievement and institutionalization of the long-anticipated progressive, prosperous and healthy civil society in Nigeria.
